1. Transnational Project Meeting

Good to meet you!
November’s sun was a welcoming host for arriving partners at CRPG – Centro de Reabilitação Profissional de Gaia for the first Transnational Project Meeting of the “Train the competent” project under Erasmus plus Programme. After the opening words from CRPG’s director, the agenda was set and run smoothly, enabling partners to get to know each other better, discuss project’s specifications but also to find more about CRPG’s work and its vocational rehabilitation context. Coffee breaks and lunches were also planned as opportunities to taste Portuguese gastronomy.
On the third day participants went on a field visit to find out more about CRPG’s main services and some of its clients. The visited services were:
- the rehabilitation program for persons with acquired brain injury,
- the workshop where upper and lower limbs prothesis are produced,
- the mainstream qualification program for adults towards employability,
- the vocational education and training services for persons with disabilities,
- the employment services for persons with disabilities, namely, guidance and career counselling; access, maintenance and return to work support.
