|Backround: In the months leading up to the TPM, everything was preprepared on the project’s common interface on Slack and in small and large group online meetings, so that we could make the final corrections to the materials in the framework of the personal meeting. All partners preread the materials. We have already translated some parts of the Trainer manual and the Workbook to each language.
The aim of the meeting is the final review of all modules belonging to IO1 Trainer manual and IO2 Workbook, and some layouts which have already been completed from the English version.
|The English version of six modules of the Trainer’s manual and Workbook are shown side by side on the projector, one after the other. The corrected versions are uploaded to the project’s common platform on Slack.|

How to be creative in competence development?
The field visit is always the most exciting part of the TPMs, since here participants get to know first-hand how the partner organizations develop disabled people whom they support. The headquarters of the Theotokos Foundation is located in a huge park in Ilion, twenty minutes from Athens. It’s like being in a fairytale place, where everything is designed to help their clients with intellectual disabilities develop their creativity as best as possible.
Participants saw the Prevocational training departments and a selection of the 23 Vocational Training departments. They visited vocational training workshops which also run in their organizations in order to meet the trainers and the trainees and to see the way the workshops function and the products produced. For example, they visited the following workshops: kitchen, catering, officework, bookbinding, printing, weaving and woodwork. They were also able to meet some of the trainees that had participated in the peer supporter training program. and met many young adults who are happily creating. They learn many things, under the supervision of instructors, and spend their days wisely.
